1910 English 9K Gold Jasper & Pearl Bug Brooch

Acquired in the UK, an unusual c. 1910 bug/fly brooch set in 9K gold with seed pearls and a natural jasper stone.

This unique long bar brooch measures 3" long and has a 2-3/4" long safety chain. The insect dangles from the bar which is lovely. The total height of the brooch to the bottom of the insect is 1-1/4". It weighs 5.28 grams.

The brooch is stamped "9ct" and is in excellent condition. The clasp appears to be white gold. 

A wonderful, special antique brooch, especially if you covet insect jewelry!
