1920s Mark Hopkins Hotel, San Francisco Crested Teapot & Sugar Bowl

From my personal collection, a silver plate crested teapot and sugar bowl from the Mark Hopkins Hotel atop San Francisco's Nob Hill.

The teapot dates to 1926, the year the hotel opened. It bears the fancy hotel's crest on the side.

It has polished up beautifully and has a nice patina with little wear. The interior is clean for an individual serving of tea.

It measures 6-1/4" tall and 6" from handle to spout. Manufactured by Gorham and stamped, "Mark Hopkins 1926".

The sugar bowl bears the crest on the side and measures 6-1/4" from handle to handle and 2-1/2" tall. Manufactured by Gorham and stamped, "Mark Hopkins" The date mark is 1941.
