19th C. 1860s English Regatta Studded Tankard Trophy

Such a unique trophy!

A 1860s silverplated studded tankard trophy that's inscribed, "MAIDENHEAD REGATTA. 1865. DOUBLE PUNTING. R. GREEN. I MAITEY".

We've never seen a tankard trophy before and the studs really add pizazz.

It measures 4-3/8" tall, and 5-1/2" wide to the handle. Opening diameter is 3-1/2".

It is in superb condition with a bright, shiny patina. It's quite weighty as well. Bottom is glass.
