19th C. French Gent Portrait Oil Painting

Acquired in France, a distinguished 19th century French gentleman portrait oil painting on canvas.

The painting is nicely executed and framed in a fancy carved gilt gesso frame. The frame measures 28-1/2" by 23-3/4". It is approx. 4" deep with the painting. Frame has areas of wood loss as depicted in photos.

The painting itself is in superb condition.
