Large Victorian 14K Gold Cultured Pearl Celestial Crescent Moon and Star Brooch

Superb large Victorian celestial 14K yellow gold & cultured pearl crescent moon and star brooch.

This fabulous celestial brooch was acquired from a San Francisco estate. The estate had a large collection of coveted pieces of jewelry dating from the Georgian and Victorian eras to the mid twentieth century--many of them designer pieces.

If you want the moon and the stars this elegant 14K gold and seed pearl Victorian pin will be a lovely addition. It is a fine example of Victorian craftsmanship. The brooch measures 1-5/8" long by 1" wide. It has lovely graduated cultured pearls with a beautiful lustre.

It's in excellent condition with its original c clasp. Total weight is 9.2 grams. Not stamped but tests for 14K.

You generally don't see brooches such as this in such a generous size. This would make a truly elegant statement!
