Large Victorian Sterling Silver Amitie, Eternity, Infinity Locket Pendant

Lovely large Victorian 19th century English sterling silver locket pendant with beautiful decoration and raised AEI initials on the front. A fancy motif on the rim.

The AEI stands for Amity, Eternity and Infinity which, during the Victorian period, was a popular symbol, and would have been worn as a sign of everlasting love.

The nice-sized locket dates to the 1880s. The back is inscribed, "In Memoriam W.H.S. & A.S."

It measures 2-1/4" including the bale. It is 1-3/8" wide and opens to hold two photos. No glass in the interior. We are including a 24" long silver metal ball chain.

Locket closes tightly. Total weight is 17.03 grams.
