American journalist, screenwriter and author Elliot Harold Paul's (1891-1958), wryly comedic novels of shenanigans in Paris. In 1925 Paul joined many of his literary compatriots in the Montparnasse Quarter of Paris. There, he worked for the Chicago Tribune's International Edition, and wrote very funny detective fiction, satirising the Paris art scene, featuring his sleuth Homer Evans.
Hardcover with pictorial dust jacket. Some minor tears on the dust jacket, protected in a Mylar cover.
