Rare Antique Double Scarab Quartz Brooch with Rubies

From Lynn's personal collection, a rare Art Nouveau scarab brooch from the amazing estate of Sanford and Helen Berger. The Bergers were Art Nouveau enthusiasts and some of their prized collections are featured in the Huntington Library, Art Museum in Pasadena, California. Mr. and Mrs. Berger were Lynn's great aunt and uncle.

This gorgeous brooch features two taxidermy scarabs with ruby eyes resting on cut quartz and surrounded by 11 small rubies.

It measures 2-1/8" long by 1-1/4" wide and is in superb condition.
