Victorian English Leather Carryall Cordite Bucket with Coat of Arms

A fantastic and rare Victorian English leather cordite powder carrier, or gunpowder carrier.

This large piece has a painted coat of arms on the side. It has a leather exterior with a leather carry handle with brass rivets and the base has feet. It is quite heavy and solid.

It measures 16" to the top of the handle and 12-1/4" to the top of the carrier. The diameter is 5-3/4".

It is in great antique condition with light wear to the leather and two punctured areas in the coat of arms that do not tear the leather. Nothing detracts from this unique piece.
