Victorian Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco Crested Tureen

From my personal collection, a magnificent silver plate crested tureen from the Fairmont Hotel atop San Francisco's Nob Hill.

The large tureen bears the early double F crests on one side. It has ornate detail throughout and has polished up beautifully with a gorgeous patina. The interior is spotless.

It measures approx. 9-1/2" from handle to handle, 4-7/8" wide and stands approx. 6" tall. 

Manufactured by Reed & Barton and stamped, "Fairmont Hotel". This dates to the turn of the twentieth century.
