Victorian Horse Hoof Taxidermy Inkwell

Fabulous Victorian era stag hoof taxidermy inkwell. For the horse gentry who wanted a remembrance, there was an option to taxidermy the hoof, and this is a fine example.

Enhancements include a brass collar with engraved "hair" that surrounds the top and banding on the bottom and lid.

The piece stands 3" tall by 5-1/4" long and 4" deep.. It is in excellent condition.
