Victorian Monogrammed Tortoise Pendant and Chain

Rare and elegant Victorian monogrammed genuine tortoiseshell pendant and matching chain. Tortoiseshell was a popular material for jewelry and hair combs throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.

This beautiful pendant has a fancy old monogram that I haven't been able to decipher. It comes with a matching link chain, which is rare.

The pendant measures approx. 1-1/2" by 1-1/4". The long chain measures 36" not including the locket. Excellent condition.
