Collectible Victorian Pasadena Queen of the Valley Silver Plate Box

Collectible Victorian silver plate repousse box that is engraved, "Pasadena (with a crown) of the Valley".

This was most likely tied to the Rose Bowl parade in Pasadena. It could have been an award for a "Queen of the Valley" float. The history is not completely known.

It's a beautiful box with hand engraving and repousse work around the side.

It measures 5-3/4" long by 2-3/4" wide and 7/8" tall. Excellent condition. Manufactured by Meriden.
