Victorian Sterling Silver Amitie, Eternity, Infinity Locket Pendant

Lovely Victorian 19th century English sterling silver locket pendant with beautiful decoration and raised AEI initials on the front.

The AEI stands for Amity, Eternity and Infinity which, during the Victorian period, was a popular symbol, and would have been worn as a sign of everlasting love.

The locket dates to the 1880s and measures 1-1/2" not including the bale, and 1-3/4" including the bale.  It is 1" wide and opens to hold two photos. No glass in the interior.

Locket closes tightly. Center could use additional polishing if desired. Total weight is 9.1 grams.
