Vintage English Butcher's Display Silver Plate Tongue Dish

Fabulous vintage English silver plated butcher's display tongue dish.

The center of the dish is inscribed, "tongue dish". The rim is chased with laurel wreaths and ribbons, and the underside is marked with the maker's stamp and pattern number.

It measures 10-1/4" in diameter and close to an inch deep. It's in excellent condition with English hallmarks for Birmingham, Thomas Wilkinson & Son.

Use for serving or display. A unique and lovely piece!
