Vintage Hotel del Prado, Chicago Coffee Pot

We just love this vintage coffee pot from the Hotel del Prado!

The Hotel Del Prado is a historic apartment hotel at 5307 S. Hyde Park Boulevard in the Hyde Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. Built in 1918, it is the oldest of the several apartment hotels built in Hyde Park in the late 1910s and 1920s.

The coffee pot has polished up beautifully and has a mirror-like patina. It has "The Del Prado 10" across the side in a fabulous font. The "10" would have been for room service, most likely room 10.

It measures approx. 7-1/2" tall and 6" from handle to spout. Quite a solid, heavy piece. The interior has been re-lined and perfect for serving coffee or tea.
