Vintage Santa Fe Railway Teapot

Highly collectible vintage silver plate dining car teapot from the Santa Fe Railway.

The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway often referred to as the Santa Fe or AT&SF, was one of the largest Class 1 railroads in the United States between 1859 and 1996. The Santa Fe was a pioneer in intermodal freight transport; at various times, it operated an airline, the short-lived Santa Fe Skyway, and the Santa Fe Railroad tugboats.

The teapot bears the railway's name on the side. It's polished up beautifully with some scratches commensurate with age. The interior is spotless for an individual serving.

It measures approx. 5-3/4" tall and 6" from handle to spout.

Manufactured by International Silver Co. and dated 1962.

A highly collectible piece of railway silver.
